If we went to coffee today, here’s what I’d tell you.
You are. The fact that you’re still showing up, even when things are hard, still trying, still caring about doing things well says a lot about who you are. That matters. It really does.
You know that thing that’s been on your mind? The situation you keep coming back to? Hand some of it off. To God, to a friend, to tomorrow. Some things have a way of sorting themselves out when you give them a little room.
Sometimes you need ten minutes. Sometimes you need a whole day. Either way, stopping is not quitting. You are allowed to rest. People need rest.
You are seeing their best moments and comparing them to your regular Tuesday. That is not a fair comparison. Your life, your pace, your story. That is worth something.
We are all human, which means we are all imperfect. But there are people out there who are genuinely for you. The ones who show up, tell you the truth, and want good things for you. Those people are worth everything. If you have even one, you are rich.
Keeping your word. Showing up when it is inconvenient. Doing the right thing when nobody is watching. Those things add up to a life you can be proud of. They matter more than the big moments.
Strong people ask for help. It’s not weak. It’s honest and brave and it keeps you from running on empty.
That’s what I would tell you over coffee. Small reminders, nothing complicated. Just everyday life feeling a little kinder.
That is what Kind Little Market is all about.
With kindness,
Meg
